The flyer was originally created to go into the new student orientation packets so that new or inquiring students can be more knowledgeable about the resources Met Media provides on campus. I first wanted to find an encompassing theme and title that visually interpreted the objective. Expression and individuality were words that best-defined Met Media and from that I came up with Express Your Voice.
Met Media provides work study opportunities, as well as provides the campus with information via news broadcasting, student led podcasts, the Metropolitan newspaper as well as the Metrosphere catalog. I chose the color teal as it represents open communication and clarity of thought which are two main missions of Met Media and encompasses all that we do. Using Adobe Illustrator, I was able to create the smooth yet vibrating line the visually represents communication and dialogue.
